Maria Ripoll has been making films since 1998, achieving record breaking success at the Spanish box office, international performance at film festivals such as Montreal or Miami Film Festival and industry recognition including the Spanish Academy Goya’s or the Catalan Academy Gaudí’s amongst others. With ten feature films to her name, and she’s currently developing her eleventh.

ABOUT
Maria Ripoll combines her busy directing schedule with masterclasses, teaching actor coaching techniques or script analysis in prestigious institutions such as ESCAC, ECAM or Actor’s Spanish Society (ASIGE). She has also shot many commercials for Spanish and international brands, and in 2019 she published her first novel, «Two Naked Women», in partnership with Elisenda Roca.
